Facts:
As featured in the May 2005 Sacramento Business Journal the 52,000 square foot Safeway Store is the anchor tenant for the mixed use retail/residential development. The ground floor is dedicated to retail use with townhouses and lofts available above.

The $12.8 million development is part of the R Street corridor revitalization.

The R Street Market is one of Sacramento’s newest mixed use projects incorporating retail and residential in an attractive setting. The project incorporates a Safeway as a main anchor while flanked by retail on each side with residential loft units above. The combined retail and residential development has become the flagship project for the long planned R Street Corridor revitalization. The project encourages the use of public transportation, walking and biking for the midtown area.

The project was designed by the architects LPA Sacramento, Inc.
