Facts:

Turley & Associates provided mechanical and plumbing engineering on this recently completed LEED Silver project, consisting of a 26,000 sf CHP replacement facility located on a 5.4 acre site in Truckee, CA.  The new facility includes office areas; armory; holding cells; evidence storage; radio building; fueling facility; and auto maintenance facility.  The high efficiency HVAC system consists of three stages of cooling utilizing 100% OSA based on climate conditions.  First stage, 100% OSA.  Second stage, indirect evaporative cooling.  Third stage, high efficiency Dx.  The system incorporates single duct VAV boxes with reheat, DDC controls, high efficiency boilers, and a site snow melt system.
