Facts:
Turley & Associates in conjunction with LPAS, have recently completed the New Student Center located at the American River College Campus. The 57,000 sq.ft. facility replaces the existing Cafeteria/Student Center from the 1960’s. The new facility houses the following services; Subway, Starbucks, three lounges, main dining, main kitchen and International Studies. The facility is served from the campus central plant which provides chilled water and heating water to the building. The mechanical system consists of custom rooftop air handlers, variable air volume systems, heat recovery systems and a “Melink” hood control system for additional energy savings. The entire mechanical system is controlled from the campus DDC system.
