The project consisted of a five-story science building located in the central part of the campus.  .  The mechanical system consisted of a built-up penthouse double-duct variable-volume system.  A separate air-cooled chiller was incorporated for off-hour occupancy of the laboratories.  The system was primarily served by the campus’ central chilled water and steam systems.
